August 6, 2015 (DVAARCH.COM) – DVA Architect’s Milestone project site plan and preliminary plan was recently approved by M-NCPPC. This site for the Matan Companies in Germantown, MD will comprise 1,220,500 gsf of development. Including 4 existing office buildings, 3 new mixed-use residential buildings with 485 apartment units, 38,250 sf of new retail and 3,147 total parking spaces. The vision is to transform a traditional suburban office park into a vibrant, 24/7 mixed-use town center.

The planning board was especially excited when presented the renderings, and could visualize the scope and implication of the development for the future office, residential, and retail live/work environments. Milestone was unanimously passed by the board with the comment “Please do this type of project anywhere in Montgomery County”.
