Germantown, MD, December 12, 2014 – Matan Companies is pleased to announce the addition of LOCAL 301™ Café to its 270 Corporate Center project in Germantown, Maryland.

LOCAL 301™, an innovative concept in fast-casual dining, which specializes in fresh, locally sourced ingredients, will open a 1,270 square foot location at 20201 Century Boulevard that will offer indoor and outdoor seating in the recently renovated courtyard. Expected to launch in June of 2015, owners Debbie Molinari and Le Cordon Bleu trained head chef Meegan Herman will offer up a seasonally rotating menu that highlights their 20 years of experience in the food industry by offering foodies throughout the area something new and interesting.

Matan has owned the 4-building, 450,000 square foot corporate center since 2000 and restructured the financing for the project earlier this year which was the catalyst for a $5 million dollar capital investment to renovate the common areas and deliver amenities that will help 270 Corporate Center distinguish itself in the I-270 market.  In addition to the recently renovated courtyard, which offers a free public Wi-Fi network and outdoor seating, Matan will renovate all the common areas of 20250 Century Boulevard, deliver a 36-seat conference center, and a 3,000 square foot fitness center with a yoga studio.
