On the 3rd Saturday of July, downtown Rockville will be transformed into a mid-summer night’s festival of live music, sponsor displays, vending tents, and refreshments, attracting over 8,000 spectators and over 2,500 runners. The annual Twilight Runfest has long been recognized as one of the Nation’s Capital’s premier summer race events, as runners complete an 8k road race, 1.5k fun run, or a family fitness walk (new this year) through several Rockville neighborhoods, starting at twilight.

Since it began in the 1980’s the annual Rockville Rotary Twilight Runfest has raised over a million dollars to benefit citizens of Rockville and charities around the world. Matan is proud to be a sponsor of this year’s event which will provide funding for local homeless shelters, food programs, needy families, scouting organizations, and many health and education programs in the U.S., India, Haiti and Mexico.
