Matan Holds 7th Annual Food From the Heart Food Drive
Germantown, MD – March 12, 2015. Matan Companies, one of the region’s premier commercial real estate and development firms, recently hosted a food drive for the Manna Food Center, a local non-profit organization striving to fight hunger and feed hope in Montgomery County. The drive, which was held from February 9th – February 25th at Matan’s 270 Corporate Center and Milestone Business Park properties, yielded a substantial donation wherein 811 pounds of dry and canned goods were collected for individuals and families in need.
The final donations of food were delivered earlier this week to the Manna Food Center in Gaithersburg, MD. In total, over the past 7 years, Matan Companies has collected over 5,600 pounds of food for the Manna Food Center.
“The Food From the Heart Food Drive is a great way for our offices to make a difference right here in Montgomery County,” said Priscilla Ford, Property Manager for Matan Companies. “I am extremely proud of the generosity demonstrated by our tenants and employees, and am proud to continue the tradition of this annual campaign for yet another year.”
